Not sure how the Invisalign process works? To begin, Dr. Major will examine your mouth and take x-rays to determine if this treatment is the right option for your orthodontic needs. Then, if you’re approved, they will work with Invisalign to develop a custom treatment plan.
In a few weeks, your first several sets of aligners will arrive at our office, and you’ll come in to pick them up and get instructions on how to wear them. You will wear each set for about 20-22 hours per day, and switch to a new set every 2 weeks.
In addition, you’ll come to our office every 4-6 weeks for a brief checkup, and to get your next few sets of aligners. This process will be repeated until your teeth have reached their ideal alignment.
