Dental offices closed for several months during the initial lockdown caused by COVID-19. However, since then, the CDC has issued guidance for dental offices, which was approved by the ADA. As of writing this post, dental offices in every state are now open and offering elective procedures, according to the ADA’s interactive map.
This includes Wisconsin, where dental offices were allowed to reopen on May 11 by the Wisconsin Dental Association, as long as they obey all recommendations by OSHA, CDC, and the ADA.
While most dentists closed down during the initial COVID-19 outbreak, most dental offices including Jackson Family Dentistry remained open for dental emergencies.
